Stephen Daisley (Australia/NZ)
Stephen Daisley grew up in the North Island of New Zealand and now lives in Western Australia. He has worked on sheep and cattle stations, on oil and gas construction sites and as a truck driver, among many other jobs. Stephen’s first novel, Traitor, won the Australian Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Fiction. His second, Coming Rain, won $50,000 the Acorn Literary Prize at the 2016 Ockham New Zealand Books Awards.
